Same here!
the 2 main aspects are "kicking lamers and hacker" and im using VCK for better game ping and more fun with online hosted games.
it really sux to play with delay and i dont understand blizz why they wanna bann VCK!

if there are enough warnings to the download on the main page (and there ARE enough)
people could decide on their own if they wanna take the risk of getting banned or not..

so in my opinion VCK should remain!

This for sure.

VCK Lite™ should happen if and only if Blizzard doesn't back off from their ridiculous

VCK doesn't modify the working memory of wc3, only the game.dll file before the game is loaded. When you execute warcraft it calls the game.dll file, as I understand it.  In that respect, VCK shouldn't be bannable because it rewrites a memory address that is loaded at the start of .  The DirectX hook that allows in-game commands for WC3Banlist and VCK alters the working memory, but VCK is only a middle man here and should not be detectable aside from the hook.

However, Blizzard's new tool Warden is going way beyond their right to scan the working memory as an antipiracy measure.  It actually scans the RAM of all processes of a user...they claim that it restricts itself to warcraft 3 memory "with the exception of certain tools".  This basically states that they can scan the entire active memory to look for whatever program they determine to be a "hack".  Under this new position, they could ban you for running notepad.exe claiming that it breaks their Terms of Use.

All of these requests to add a few features here and there like the above post defeat the purpose of the Lite version. It is supposed to have the bare minimum of features.
